Eleven years have passed since the last adventure, and in the blink of an eye, Andy (voiced by John Morris) has grown into a cheerful 17-year-old boy. This summer, Andy is about to start college and must tidy up his room for his younger sister. Previously, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen), and the other toys had been eagerly waiting for Andy to play with them again, but as time went by, they were left neglected in a box for a long time. Andy cherished these childhood companions dearly and planned to store them in the attic. Unexpectedly, his mother mistakenly threw the toys out onto the street as trash. Misunderstanding Andy's intentions, the toys angrily decided to leave, preferring to be donated to the Sunnyside Daycare instead. Woody tried his best to persuade everyone, but with little success, and had no choice but to leave alone in dismay. Buzz Lightyear and the others initially thought they would return to the happy times of the past, but instead, they found themselves caught up in a sinister plot...
