Buzz Lightyear is one of the main characters of the Toy Story franchise. He is the protagonist of its television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and its direct-to-DVD movie Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins, along with the Toy Story Toon episode Small Fry.
He is a plastic bilingual spaceman action figure with wings, a laser and a helmet, who accompanies Woody on his adventures in each movie.
His often repeated catchphrase is "To infinity and beyond!".
