What a beautiful day. Tom, who always knows how to enjoy life, sets up a hammock between two trees in the center of the yard. He then fetches a drink, a newspaper, and a pillow, ready to take a nap in the hammock. Unexpectedly, the ill-timed Jerry beats him to it, lying down on the bed all by himself and snoring away, even shamelessly pulling the pillow over to rest his head on it. Tom is quite annoyed, so he secretly unties the ropes of the hammock. Jerry slides down along with it and eventually slips into the water. After gulping down a bellyful of water, Jerry refuses to back down and retaliates against Tom, causing him to crash heavily onto the ground. Furious, Tom stands up and finds Jerry lying on the bed again, so he shakes it violently, sending Jerry flying into the air. Jerry remains unfazed and, after a series of twists and turns, lands steadily back on the bed, still fast asleep.
How could Tom tolerate the little mouse causing trouble again and again? He comes up with countless ways to deal with this little troublemaker...
