Nevertheless, he walked over to the piano, sat down, and began to play. At that moment, the monster let out a discordant, strange cry. The singer turned to stare at it, and the monster stopped making noise. Thinking he could finally practice his singing properly, the singer had just begun to sing when the monster emitted an even more unbearable, bizarre sound. Helpless, the singer started to resist the monster, but in the end, he could only beg it pitifully to show mercy. The monster was unmoved and, instead, swallowed the singer whole in one gulp.
