The elegant and graceful female cat, Toodles Galore, inherits a fortune of one million dollars, after which she moves into a luxurious apartment in the bustling city center, living a pampered and wealthy life. Miss Galore's story makes headlines in the newspapers, naturally attracting countless playboys and frivolous suitors who flatter and fawn over her. Our old friend Tom is, of course, among them. Dressed up and wearing a top hat, he arrives at the beauty's doorstep, presenting not only flowers but also a carefully prepared little gift—the poor little mouse Jerry. Forced by Tom, Jerry reluctantly plays the role of a music box figurine. Filled with resentment, he schemes to teach the shameless Tom a lesson. Jerry happens to catch a glimpse of the black cat Butch singing in a trash can outside the window, and a cunning plan quickly comes to mind...
This film marks the final appearance of Miss Galore in the Tom & Jerry series.
