All along, Gru (voiced by Steve Carell), who prides himself as the world's most terrifying super-villain, has always believed that nothing can stand in the way of his delightfully wicked progress. However, when his path unexpectedly crosses with the lives of three little girls, he soon realizes he is about to face the toughest challenge of his life. In a seemingly happy and peaceful suburban community, surrounded by white picket fences and lush rose bushes, stands an all-black house with a dull, lifeless green lawn. What the neighbors don't know is that beneath this house lies a vast, hidden lair, housing a nefarious army of Minions, led by Gru, who is planning the most audacious heist in human history—yes, he intends to steal the moon.
