From the planning stage, international expansion was considered. In the United States, it was released under the title "DINOZAURS" and had its own unique developments, such as selling toys originally developed for the separate series "Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog" as toys for this series. A new 26-episode TV anime series was also produced by the same studio, Sunrise, and aired on Fox Kids. Note that the TV series has not been released on home video in either Japan or the US. The OVA consists of 5 volumes. Volumes 1 to 4 were bundled with toys of the main characters, and Volume 5 could be obtained through a mail-in offer for all applicants from TV Magazine and Comic BomBom.
