Puzzle

Using traditional paper animation techniques, this work expresses the author's childhood understanding of "gender" and the impact of changing family dynamics on their inner world during youth. "Puzzle" carries the meaning of "mystery" or "doubt." Abstract emotions are visualized through childhood symbols such as goldfish, the backyard peach tree, and flowers, giving form to intangible feelings.
