In a quiet farmhouse, a mother duck lies in her nest with her eyes closed, patiently awaiting the arrival of new life beneath her feathers. However, one little one seems unable to bear such solitude and rolls out of the warm nest on its own, tumbling right in front of the sleeping Tom. In his daze, Tom accidentally sits on the duck egg. Fortunately, the reckless little duckling Quacker is unharmed. Seeing Tom as the first being in sight, Quacker eagerly pounces on him, clearly regarding the greedy old cat as his mother. With a tasty treat before him, Tom doesn’t hesitate. He sets up a spit and ties Quacker to it, intending to roast him. Just then, Jerry happens to pass by and quickly rescues Quacker. Yet, Quacker shows no gratitude, firmly believing that Tom is the most loving and caring mother he could ever have...
