On a tranquil morning in the suburbs, by a pond surrounded by reeds, a mother duck gazes with boundless longing and joy at the six duck eggs nestled in her brood. Soon, the eggs begin to stir one after another, and fluffy little yellow ducklings break through their shells. The mother duck is overjoyed and eagerly leads her newborn babies to the pond for a swim, unaware that one little one is lagging behind. This little one hurries to catch up with his mother and siblings, but suddenly realizes—he doesn’t know how to swim! As his family swims farther and farther away, the little duckling bursts into tears. His cries catch the attention of Jerry, a little mouse living nearby, who kindly tries to help the duckling swim, but with little success. In despair, the little one wanders alone through the woods and, without realizing it, stumbles right into Tom’s cooking pot.
And so, a battle over the little yellow duck begins...
