In the vast, serene, and boundless blue ocean, a tattered little wooden raft floats. On the raft sits an exhausted Tom, a cat who narrowly escaped a shipwreck. Whether by luck or misfortune, he is starving and forced to chew on a leather shoe to fill his stomach. Just then, he spots a small island not far away, and his spirits lift instantly. A timely wave pushes the raft toward the shore. Hit on the head by a coconut, Tom ignores the pain and tries to crack it open for a meal, but fails.
