One Saturday evening, the plump mistress was in high spirits. She put on her most splendid evening gown, adorned herself with dazzling jewelry, and hummed a cheerful tune as she prepared to attend her bridge club gathering. Tom watched the mistress's every move with excitement. The moment she left, he shot up from his nest like an arrow, dashed to the window, and summoned the black cat Butch, the ginger cat Lightning, and the kitten Topsy—who were all messing around in the garbage dump—to the house for a wild weekend music party. Lightning, acting as the DJ, played intense, swinging jazz tunes. Butch sat at the piano, skillfully playing lively notes, while Topsy lined up a row of glasses and delivered a spectacular percussion performance. As the host, Tom prepared a lavish dinner, all while joining in with his friends' musical acts. 　　Their raucous celebration, however, troubled Jerry, who was trying to get some sleep.
