At the beginning of the film, we see Tom, with a white cloth wrapped around his head, staying in the attic. He is using a projector to play a compilation of videos showcasing the various chase battles between him and his little nemesis Jerry over the years. The footage includes highlights from many classic shorts such as "The Yankee Doodle Mouse," "The Cat Who Lost His Memory," and "Heavenly Puss." Seeing himself suffer so much naturally infuriates Tom, but he still carefully pauses at key moments, rewinds to watch repeatedly, and diligently takes notes. Just then, Jerry emerges carrying a large bucket of popcorn, sitting right in the center of the attic to watch along, bursting into laughter at the amusing scenes.
To completely eliminate this troublesome rival, Tom designs an extremely complex mouse-hunting contraption. Jerry's life hangs in the balance, but he will never surrender or wait idly for his fate...
