The film tells the story of the UglyDolls' adventurous journey to explore the unknown world in search of their true selves. Living in Uglyville, the UglyDolls set off on an adventure to a place called the Institute of Perfection, where dolls are all exquisite and beautiful. There, they undergo training before graduation to be sent into the real world as beloved toys for children. Xi and her friends must train there to transform into perfect dolls, which is no easy task for them. Whether Xi can complete her transformation and find her own owner—the story continues to unfold...
