The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

This series is a 10-episode prequel to the 1982 film "The Dark Crystal," exploring the world of Thra. The film primarily tells the story of how, thousands of years ago, the Dark Crystal cracked, creating two races: the terrifying Skeksis—who use the remaining power of the Dark Crystal to sustain their lives—and a group of kind, gentle wizards known as the Mystics. The cruel Skeksis are dedicated to achieving immortality, and the last two survivors of the Gelfling race, Jen and Kira, must embark on an adventure with the last remaining shard of the Crystal to repair it and prevent the catastrophe that would destroy their world. The series will follow three young Gelflings who uncover a horrifying secret, sparking a rebellion against the tyrannical emperor.
