The Wise Little Hen

On a small hillside in the countryside, there lived Mother Hen and her children. It was planting season, and Mother Hen decided to grow some corn. However, her strength was limited, and her children were still too young. What could she do? Mother Hen decided to ask her friends for help. She first approached Peter Pig, but the lazy fellow didn’t want to put in any effort, so he pretended to have a stomachache and hid inside his house. Left with no choice, Mother Hen went to seek help from Donald Duck. Upon hearing that he was needed for labor, the cheerful Donald immediately put on a pained expression and also pretended to have a stomachache. Mother Hen finally realized that she had to rely on her own hard work. She and her children toiled diligently, planting the seeds and watching the corn grow day by day, until finally, the harvest season arrived. She hoped her two friends would help with the harvesting, but Peter Pig and Donald Duck repeated their old tricks. It seems that if you want to enjoy a good meal, you have to work for it yourself! In this short film, Donald Duck makes his first appearance.
