Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin
小熊维尼:寻找克里斯多夫罗宾
This film was released directly through home video distribution. The version released locally in the United States bears the English title "Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin," while the versions released overseas (i.e., outside the United States and Canada) all adopt another English title: "Winnie the Pooh's Most Grand Adventure." The plot continues from the end of the 1977 film "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." The young boy Christopher Robin must go to school, so he leaves a letter for his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood, saying he must bid them farewell for now. However, this group of "small-brained" animals led by Pooh misunderstands the letter's meaning. Owl misreads "school" as "skull," and Pooh and his friends mistakenly believe that Robin is lost and in trouble, trapped in the "Eye of the Skull." Thus, they decide to embark on a grand adventure to "rescue Christopher Robin"! This film was produced to continue the momentum of Winnie the Pooh's 70th birthday celebrations. Parts of it were completed by Disney's animation department in Japan, and it achieved strong sales upon its release in the United States.
