Once a city rampant with crime, Gotham City seems to have finally undergone a new transformation since Bruce Wayne (voiced by Peter Weller) decided to return as Batman. With the mutant leader Two-Face eliminated, the former mutant gang has now transformed into fervent followers of Batman, violently enforcing their own judgments of good and evil. Consequently, Batman's vigilante actions have sparked widespread debate, even drawing attention from the White House, while Gotham's new police chief harbors reservations about his existence. Amidst the crisis of deteriorating U.S.-Soviet relations, Superman (voiced by Mark Valley) becomes embroiled in the conflict, and Batman parts ways with his former ally due to their differing ideologies. During this time, the Joker (voiced by Michael Emerson) makes a high-profile return, invited to a television interview while secretly harboring a new sinister plot. 　　 To thwart the Joker's destruction, Batman and the new generation of Robin break through countless obstacles, charging toward their adversary...
