The web animation "The Secret of the Cave Light Gem in the Forbidden City's Great Beasts" is a collaborative production by Tencent Video, Original Force Animation, and kidsland. It tells the story of Li Xiaoyu, an ordinary 11-year-old girl who accidentally picks up a magical gem earring in the Forbidden City, thereby stumbling into the hidden world of mythical beasts within the palace walls and embarking on an extraordinary fantasy adventure. It premiered exclusively on Tencent Video on July 30, 2021, with the first four episodes released on the launch day, followed by one new episode every Thursday and Friday thereafter.
