On a clear, sunny spring day, the members of the Yorozuya, on their way to view cherry blossoms, run into the Shinsengumi, who are also there for flower viewing. At the blossom-viewing spot, a conflict breaks out between the Yorozuya and the Shinsengumi. Since drawing swords in a place with civilians is inappropriate, they decide to settle it with "Rock-Paper-Scissors." Kyō, driven by personal grudges, takes down Kondō; Kagura and Sōgo start brawling right away; Gin and Hijikata compete in a drinking contest and end up completely wasted...
