"Bad Day at Cat Rock" The 136th theatrical short in the "Tom and Jerry" series, and the 9th episode produced and directed by Chuck Jones. Tom and Jerry engage in various chases and battles on a construction site. In an attempt to jump to a higher level, Tom uses a rock as a fulcrum and sets up a steel beam as a seesaw. Standing on one end of the beam, he tries to throw another rock onto the opposite end to launch himself into the air, but repeatedly fails... The title is a pun on the American thriller film "Bad Day at Black Rock."
