As always, at the beginning of the film, the little mouse Jerry once again becomes the plaything of the cunning and mischievous big cat Tom. Tom ties Jerry to a fishing line, first letting him run around, then forcefully reeling him back in. Jerry feels quite helpless, allowing Tom to toy with him, though from time to time he still comes up with many clever tricks to turn the tables. Finally, he can no longer endure it and breaks free from the fishing line, escaping outside. Just then, a brown stray cat is searching for food near the trash can. Jerry willingly jumps into its arms, showering it with affection to show that he is willing to become the stray cat’s meal. The stray cat is overjoyed, while Tom, who arrives shortly after, is furious. Tom intends to snatch the mouse back, but the stray cat proves incredibly fierce and mercilessly drives him away.
After this, the clever and resourceful little mouse provokes two greedy and foolish cats, sparking a battle over the mouse...
