Simba is the young prince of the lion kingdom, and his father Mufasa is a majestic king. However, his uncle Scar has long coveted Mufasa's throne. To ascend to the royal seat, Scar must eliminate the young prince. Thus, Scar uses various pretexts to send Simba out, then seizes the opportunity to launch a deadly attack, only to be thwarted by Mufasa's timely rescue. Through repeated schemes, Mufasa meets a tragic end at Scar's hands. With ulterior motives, Scar persuades Simba to leave, while simultaneously sending henchmen to hunt him down. During his exile, Simba encounters the clever Timon and the kind-hearted Pumbaa, who raise him into a mighty lion and encourage him to return to the forest and reclaim his kingdom.
