A year has passed since the final battle with Bagramon, and Taiki Kudou has entered his second year of middle school. At some point, his close friends Akari and Zenjirou were no longer by his side, replaced instead by Amano Nene's younger brother, Amano Yuu. "Xros Heart" continues to exist under the guise of a basketball team, with a member named Akashi Kudo who deeply respects his senior, Taiki. One day, Kudo gets caught up in a strange incident occurring in the city, and a new chapter of adventure begins for Taiki, Kudo, Yuu, and the others!
