The entire 26-episode TV series is divided into seven chapters and is currently being screened in advance at 10 theaters nationwide. Chapter 1: "A Distant Departure" was screened from April 7, 2012, to April 20 of the same year, and Chapter 2: "The Deadly Struggle in the Solar Sphere" began screening from June 30 of the same year. During the screening period of Chapter 1, a theater-limited Blu-ray with the storyboard collection of Episode 1 was sold at the theaters (subsequent chapters will also be sold in advance simultaneously with their screenings). Additionally, the series is being distributed on Hikari TV concurrently with the screenings. Prior to this, approximately the first 10 minutes of Chapter 1 were made available for free on Hikari TV starting March 26 of the same year, and it was also streamed for free for a limited one-week period on Bandai Channel starting March 30 of the same year.
