The series follows the adventures of Fry, a young man from the 20th century, in the 30th century. Phillip Fry is a 25-year-old pizza delivery boy in New York City, living a life of constant hustle. On December 21, 1999, he is accidentally cryogenically frozen and wakes up 1,000 years later, gaining a chance to start a new life. He lands a job at Planet Express, a company specializing in modern package delivery across the universe. His colleagues include Captain Leela, a tough but lovable one-eyed alien, and Bender, a robot with many human flaws. Fry, Leela, and Bender—sometimes joined by Amy and Zoidberg—risk their lives delivering packages to every corner of the cosmos, occasionally taking on charitable missions for tax deductions. Each episode is packed with laughs, making it an excellent sci-fi comedy animation.
