Beginning in 1992, it started airing as a program within "It's 6 O'Clock! ETV," a slot established in the first half of the 6 PM hour on each weekday. With environmental issues as its theme, each episode follows the structure: "Opening Theme → Opening Talk → Anime (Part A) → Talk → Anime (Part B) → Ending Talk → Ending." For the talk segments, a team consisting of female talent Ai Hara and five elementary school students, acting as an exploration squad, investigates environmental problems such as waste issues, water pollution, and desertification, seeking clues to solutions for protecting the Earth. Rather than approaching environmental issues in a complex way, the content is made accessible and engaging for viewers themselves by using familiar topics from daily life (like empty cans, insect collecting, or wasting electricity) and incorporating many experiments. As of 2023, ways to view this program include the Broadcasting Library (only the first episode) and occasional screenings as a film print at local community centers. Furthermore, a portion of the program's first episode was also broadcast on July 31, 2016, during an episode of the children's variety show "Wan Wan Pakkoro! Charatomo World," which aired on NHK BS Premium.
