An original video animation series created as a new work, using various episodes from the "Black Jack" original manga as motifs. While based on Osamu Tezuka's popular manga of the same name, this original video animation series borrows only the original's setting to create new works. Each story is inspired by episodes from the original manga. Additionally, the characters do not use Osamu Tezuka's "art style," instead featuring character designs by Akio Sugino.
