An anime-original episode of "My Hero Academia," adapted from the popular manga by Kōhei Horikoshi serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Jump." The HLB (Hero League Baseball) is a grassroots baseball league established by pro heroes who love baseball. The "Orcas," led by Gang Orca, and the "Lionels," led by Shishido, face off in a final showdown for the league championship. To seize supremacy, both teams call upon pro heroes and U.A. High School students currently interning as reinforcements, engaging in heated battles under the unique rules of HLB where "Quirks" are fully unleashed. This is one of two new episodes produced ahead of the TV series' sixth season, which began airing in fall 2022. Along with the other episode, "Laugh! As If You Are in Hell," it received a limited four-day theatrical screening from June 16 to 19, 2022. It began streaming on various video-on-demand services in the summer of the same year.
