An OVA adaptation of the fantasy bishoujo gag manga of the same name by Akane Nagano, originally serialized in Takeshobo's manga magazine "Comic Gamma," with a runtime of approximately 30 minutes. The cast is essentially the same as that of the radio drama version broadcast around the same period. Furthermore, coinciding with the release of this OVA, a special comic was serialized monthly in the anime magazine "Anime V." The otherworld "Fantasia"... is a space said to exist within a carpet where a race called the Magical People secretly reside. One day, an ordinary boy, Akihiro Ootsuki, picks up the very carpet into which this Fantasia is woven. Moreover, from within that carpet emerges Maron, a beautiful girl who is Fantasia's Guardian and a half-breed of Magical People and humans. Believing Akihiro to be a kind-hearted person, a delighted Maron tries to grant his wishes, but somehow things never seem to go quite according to Akihiro's desires... The actual production of this work was handled by Production I.G, known for works like "Ghost in the Shell." Character design and animation supervision were handled by Kazuya Kise.
