This is an OVA adaptation, running just under 25 minutes, of the children's story of the same name by writer Kanamori Michio, published by Iwasaki Shoten in the 1980s. It was released by King Records as the second title in their "Wanpaku Anime Series" brand for young children. 　Papa Bear works as the doctor of the forest. To ensure that the many forest animals, including rabbits and raccoons, can live with smiles on their faces, Papa pedals his bicycle around everywhere today as well, healing everyone's illnesses and injuries. However, his children, Sabear and Ebear, are a little disappointed that they can't enjoy a fun bath with their busy Papa. Amidst this, the fox Toto gets injured...? The director is Hiroshi Matsuoka, known for TV anime such as *Kiteretsu Daihyakka*. A sequel to this work, *Kuma no Oishasan: Sutekina Concert*, was also produced.
