A comical fantasy depicting the adventures of Akko-chan, who transforms using a mysterious compact. A remake, ten years after the popular anime series aired in 1969 and 1988, based on the comic of the same name by Fujio Akatsuka. Akko has always cherished the hand mirror her mother gave her when she was little. However, while trying to mediate a fight between a neighborhood older sister and her boyfriend, she accidentally breaks it. After building a grave for the mirror, she meets the Queen of the Mirror Kingdom that night. To Akko, who apologizes for breaking the hand mirror, the Queen gives a compact that allows her to transform into anything.
