Hans, a poor farmer's child, sets out on a journey with Cust, a cat who gained wisdom through magical boots. Eventually, thanks to Cust's schemes, Hans is set to marry Princess Sarah. However, cursed by the fairy Zakir, who was not invited to the wedding, the princess falls into a hundred-year slumber. Thus, Hans and Cust embark on a journey to pursue Zakir, accompanied by the fairy Pierre, who has been turned into a mouse.
