Serialized for eight years from 1994 in Shogakukan's monthly magazine "Ohisama," it was broadcast as an anime within NHK Educational TV's "Tensai Terebikun Wide" (April 5, 1999 - March 30, 2000) and within "Minna no Hiroba Da! Wan Park" (April 8, 2001 - March 31, 2002). Additionally, coinciding with the TV anime broadcast, it was also serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine "Chao" (the Chao version's author is Ito Nakamori).
