An animated film adaptation of the representative and breakthrough work by Kyoko Okazaki, a shoujo manga artist popular even among male readers for her portrayal of "modern kids." Tsuneko is a mean, selfish, tyrannical, and rough-around-the-edges girl. Yet for some reason, she is the central figure among a group of children called the "Cynical Kids," which includes her younger brother Suneo, who often falls victim to her antics. Today, the kids have come to an amusement park. Tsuneko actually hates roller coasters, but she doesn't want to show weakness in front of everyone. Forcing herself to keep up appearances, she challenges the thrill-packed amusement rides, including the infamous roller coaster. As a result, she ends up on a dizzying trip... The director is the original author, Kyoko Okazaki herself. The content consists of four approximately 8-minute short films compiled in an omnibus format, with animation production handled by Group TAC.
