Teach Me! Harerun ～What's the Meteorological Agency Like?～ While out playing, a group of children are suddenly caught in a torrential downpour and are rescued at the last moment by their good friend, "Harerun." Having experienced this dangerous situation, they realize for the first time just how important weather forecasts are, and how crucial warnings and advisories are for protecting human lives. 　In the latter part of the story, the anime explains the main duties of the Meteorological Agency, focusing on knowledge related to weather observation and forecasting (including earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, the global environment, etc.). It also incorporates key points for protecting oneself from natural disasters like heavy rain, earthquakes, and tsunamis (e.g., not approaching rivers when a Heavy Rain Warning or Advisory is issued; if you feel an earthquake at the beach, evacuate to higher ground as a tsunami may come).
