Set in a near-future metropolis, this anime depicts the exploits of six beautiful women battling invaders from another dimension. Adapted from the manga of the same name by Kia Asamiya, the screenplay was co-written by Kei Shigema and the chief director, Michitaka Kikuchi. Directed by Kazuo Tomizawa, with character design supervision by Masahide Yanagisawa, and co-supervised by Kunihiro Abe, Tetsuro Aoki, Masaki Kajishima, and Masanori Niī. In the year 2028, Tokyo—a city-state driven by advanced technology and a highly developed information culture—is threatened by numerous invaders known as "Yōma," who have breached from the other-dimensional world of Nemesis. To detect and purify these evil and powerful Yōma, a team of six beautiful women was formed: the Anti-Yōma Special Police, AMP. Centered around their leader, Rally, and including Katsu-mi, who descends from a lineage of super-magic users, along with Kiddy, Nami, Lebia, and Yuki, they are the ultimate force, each possessing unique talents, magical abilities, and psychic powers. Nemesis continuously sends assassins against them. Armed with the guardian sword, Sword Emperor Glossopoliner, Katsu-mi relentlessly pursues the Yōma. Before her appears a massive Yōma fused with machinery. As Katsu-mi withstands the Yōma’s powerful strike along with Glossopoliner, the impact of the clash reveals the Yōma’s true identity—it is the detested high-level Yōma that, four years earlier, took the life of her beloved mother, Miyuga. Filled with thoughts of her mother, Katsu-mi engages in a fierce battle and ultimately defeats the high-level Yōma.
