The third installment in the "Kirin Monoshiri Series." This work introduces great figures from both ancient and modern times, East and West, adopting a unique approach by presenting them from two distinct perspectives rather than a single viewpoint. The hosts are two professors: the stern, white-haired and white-bearded "Serious Doctor" and the humorous, black-haired and black-bearded "Fun Doctor." The show progresses in a pattern where one expresses an opinion, only for the other to push them aside and counter it. The segments introducing the great figures consist of still images, while the parts featuring the two professors are animated. However, the animation reused a limited number of pre-drawn sequences, with the dialogue re-recorded for each use. This series marked the transition to color. Additionally, while the first two works were produced by Yokoyama Ryuichi's Otogi Production, this installment onwards was produced by Office Uni, established by the main staff of the broadcasting animation production team. The broadcasting animation production team had previously been responsible for works like MBS's "Kaminari Bouya Pikkari Bee" and "Fight da!! Pyuuta." The broadcast period for this work was 1 year and 2 months, the second shortest in the series and the shortest among works MBS was involved in producing. However, it achieved an average viewership rating of 10.5%, with a peak rating of 19.7%.
