In 22nd-century Tokyo, Ginza. Dorami happens to see a scarecrow-shaped robot named Crow who has forgotten something, and she decides to return it to him. While chasing after him, she enters a strange house and ends up lost in an unfamiliar world. There, she finds Crow being thrown out of a castle and hurriedly helps him. He had come to attend the dance party of his admired Princess Aurora, but was turned away for being a mere scarecrow, deemed unworthy of such status. Losing confidence and thinking he is just a scarecrow after all, Crow is encouraged by Dorami, and together they set their sights on Princess Aurora's castle. Overcoming numerous obstacles and enemies, the two finally arrive before the castle. Opening the door would place the admired princess right before them. But Crow does not attempt to open it. He has realized something more important than meeting the princess.
