This is a story depicting the daily lives of the "Hanakappa family," a kappa-like family who live in the Kappa Pond of the lush green "Yamabiko Village" and have flowers blooming on their heads instead of plates, along with their friends. The TV anime aired as the successor program to "Zemaimurai," which began broadcasting in April 2006. In April 2013, the first anime theatrical films, "Movie Hanakappa: Hana Sake! Pakka~n♪ The Great Adventure of the Butterfly Country" and "That's Hanakappa Musical: Bread or Rice, Which Is It!?" were released.
