This is the third chapter of the theatrical release of "Space Battleship Yamato 2202," the sequel to the modernized remake of the classic SF anime "Space Battleship Yamato," titled "Space Battleship Yamato 2199." It comprises episodes 7 through 10, totaling four episodes. Faced with an overwhelming number of Gatlantis fleet ships, the present-day Yamato, having sealed its Wave Motion Gun, is powerless. Yuki, who had stowed away on the Yamato, reveals herself upon witnessing Kodai's continuous hardships, yet the situation fails to improve. Eventually, compelled by necessity, the Yamato makes a stop at Planet Stravaze, where two enormous traps lie in wait. There, within the ruins of the Aquarius civilization, Kodai encounters a man who embodies the will of Gatlantis. This man, who preaches "love" as the absolute truth of the universe, confronts Kodai with a terrifying ultimatum: "Show me your love."
