This is a story depicting the daily lives of the "Hanakappa family," a kappa-like family who live in the Kappa Pond of the lush green "Yamabiko Village" and have flowers blooming on their heads instead of plates, along with their friends. The TV anime aired as the successor program to "Zemmaizamurai," which began broadcasting in April 2006. In April 2013, the first animated theatrical films, "Eiga Hanakappa: Hanasake! Pakkā~n♪ Chō no Kuni no Daibōken" and "That's Hanakappa Musical: Pan to Gohan, Docchi nano!?" were released.
