One day, the Saniwa suddenly collapsed— Despite the worried Touken Danshi's concerns, the Saniwa showed no signs of waking up. Meanwhile, due to the Saniwa's collapse, the time-space transfer device ceased to function, leaving the three expedition teams unable to return. Unable to contact the honmaru and with no idea when they might return, the eighteen Touken Danshi are forced to spend their days in the Heian period, the Sengoku period, and the Edo period, respectively.
