A special edition of the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," the first new work in approximately 18 years for the popular anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series. This version features over 500 updated cuts to the main footage of the film, which was originally released in theaters on January 26, 2024, and also includes additional epilogue cuts. In C.E. (Cosmic Era) 75, conflict still rages on, fueled by rising independence movements and invasions by the organization "Blue Cosmos," which advocates for the exclusion of Coordinators. In an effort to quell the situation, the world peace monitoring organization "Compass," with Lacus as its first chairperson, is established. Kira and the others become members, intervening in battles across the globe. During this time, the newly independent nation Foundation, which seceded from the Eurasian Federation, requests Compass's deployment to the Blue Cosmos headquarters and proposes a joint operation, but... The special edition screenings are held for a limited time in two parts: the first from September 20 to October 3, 2024, and the second from November 1 to November 14, 2024. Different epilogue cuts are added to the first and second parts.
