Released in 1985 during the OVA golden age by Nikkatsu Video Films, this is an original space adventure romance. The military state of the Ventica Empire reigns supreme in space. The police planet G.P.P., which opposes the empire, rescues from prison a girl named Muma, who suffers from amnesia and is said to hold the key to the empire's survival. Assigned to protect Muma is Kate, a female agent of G.P.P. Kate then receives her next orders from the G.P.P. high command: to unofficially extract another key figure in order to overthrow the empire. The target's name is Bavi, a boy. However, he is currently a hardened criminal serving a prison sentence for murder on a penal planet. The director is Shigeru Kageyama, who transitioned from animator to director, and this marks his directorial debut. The animation production was handled by Kaname Pro, the studio to which Kageyama belonged. At the time, the popular animator Mutsumi Inomata, who was also part of the studio, contributed to the project by designing characters such as the handsome antagonist, Eyesman.
