Based on "Battle Network Rockman EXE 3" and "Rockman EXE 4." Incidents occur where viruses materialize in the real world due to the actions of Darkloids. Netto and Rockman fuse through Cross Fusion to become Net Savers, protecting the peace of the network society by resolving various incidents. Due to the influence of Cross Fusion, Rockman manifests the "Soul Unison" ability, replacing the "Style Change" that was highly active in the latter half of the previous series. Due to the setting of the Darkloids, there are significant differences from the game, such as enemy Navis having no operator (or a different one).
