A year has passed since the battle with Moo. Genki had returned to life in the real world and was spending his days there. However, he couldn't find the same fulfillment in the real world as he had in the Monster Farm world, and his longing for that world grew stronger with each passing day. Then one day, while seeing a shadow resembling Mocchi in the setting sun, Genki chased after it and stumbled into a strange candy shop. In the back of the empty shop sat a game console and a game disc with Mocchi's picture on it. When Genki started it up, he learned what had happened in the Monster Farm world over the past year. After that, Holly had begun traveling alone and had reunited with Mocchi. However, they hadn't been able to find any other companions since, but at the end of their journey, they discovered the "Moo's Disc Stone." The surviving Evil Monsters who saw it attacked the two. Seeing Mocchi, who had once been lost and had forgotten all his techniques, struggling in the fight, Genki's desire to help them surged forth, and he was once again sucked into the Monster Farm world, reuniting with Mocchi and Holly. After repelling the Evil Monsters, Genki and the others eventually reunited with their scattered companions during their travels. While protecting the sealed Disc Stone of Moo, they set out to challenge various tournaments in order to compete in the Legend Cup and obtain the Gaia Stone needed to revive Holly's father.
