After obtaining the "Columbus File," a document that holds the key to the treasure "Columbus's Egg" said to contain infinite power, Fujiko and Lupin's joy is short-lived. They are attacked by Burton's gang, who are also after the treasure, and the document is destroyed. Furthermore, during their escape, they fall off a cliff, and Fujiko—who had memorized the document—loses her memory. By chance, Fujiko is taken in by Rosalia, a treasure hunter also pursuing "Columbus's Egg." Soon, Nazarov, Burton's henchman, and Lupin, who has been searching for Fujiko, appear on the scene, sparking a three-way battle over Fujiko.
