手塚治虫金像奖

A special anime broadcast within TBS's "38-Hour TV" programming. Featuring an all-star cast of Tezuka's characters, hosted by Dr. Ochanomizu, the ceremony decides awards like Best Actor and Best Actress. However, the final Grand Prize is awarded to all of Tezuka's works, and everyone concludes by singing "Atom's Child" in chorus. During the original broadcast, live-action footage of celebrities was composited in real-time with the animation. It aired as part of the "20th Century All-Star Anime" segment, presented as a double feature alongside a Tatsunoko Production special anime.
