The title "Calabi-Yau" refers to the "six-dimensional world" (Calabi-Yau manifold) that humans cannot perceive. In "Amrita's Feast," it appeared as a keyword in the dialogue of Yuu, the heroine Tamahi's classmate, to unravel the mystery of the distorted space. The released teaser visual shows a girl standing in a dilapidated classroom, with a large cracked egg behind her and eerie silhouette shadows stretching toward her from the foreground, creating an inexplicable and unsettling atmosphere. Despite the unprecedented setting of a school, the familiar massive apartment complex from the previous two works is visible through the classroom window... The girl, turning around, has a striking gaze that feels resolute and strong-willed, hinting at a new heroine image. Additionally, the large egg evokes traces of insects being born. And the shadow approaching the girl—whether it is a monster or an unknown entity—seems open to various interpretations depending on the viewer. Director Sakamoto, who astonished the world with innovative visuals and cinematic techniques in the previous two works, now depicts a new "six-dimensional horror." The teaser visual is meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, endlessly intriguing and shocking. Similar to the previous two works ("Aranea's Insect Cage" and "Amrita's Feast"), Sakamoto Saku will once again serve five roles in "Calabi-Yau no Sukima": director, animation production, original creator, scriptwriter, and composer. He will handle all production processes alone, except for voice recording and sound effects. According to producer Fukuya Osamu from the production company Zerico Film, details beyond the released information are "still a secret." The cast also remains undecided. He commented, "To allow Director Sakamoto to create with dedication until he is satisfied, we have deliberately not set a release date or runtime. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has shown interest, but please wait a little longer until completion. The latest information will be announced as it becomes available."
